We are thrilled to share that Aaron Call has joined CannonDesign as the firm’s Executive Director of Market Strategies & Growth – Incubate & Launch.
In this role, Aaron will champion innovation across the company, spurring the launch of startups and new services. He will also forge strategic partnerships and develop go-to-market strategies that ensure bold ideas become scalable solutions.
A distinguished biomedical engineer and strategist revered for guiding early-stage innovations from concept to commercial launch, Aaron has advised more than 36 companies contributing to $1B in enterprise value, $100M in venture funding and $90M in new revenue.
“As we continue to build a new kind of design firm, Aaron steps into this role ready to help us scale innovation and digital products, unleash emerging ideas across the company and position us to create new markets entirely," said Juliet Rogers, CannonDesign’s Executive Director of Firmwide Strategy. "We see boundless potential in Aaron’s role and the future it signals for our company.”
Aaron most recently worked as the founding principal of Jaunt, a consultancy helping MedTech companies navigate market strategy and the complexity of bringing visionary ideas to life. Earlier in his career, Aaron joined Ulthera as the company’s seventh employee, helping to grow the medical device firm and contributing to its eventual $600M acquisition by Merz in 2014. He later founded MediCoventures, an incubator that evaluated more than 400 device concepts and invested in high-potential technologies. He built the firm’s strategy, fundraising and evaluation frameworks — including a proprietary Fundability Criteria Worksheet — and launched four startups of his own.
