Fueled by his impressive career in emergency medicine, Ben serves as CannonDesign's inaugural Physician Executive in Residence, Innovation.
Part of our Incubate & Launch convergence platform, Ben is focused on championing innovation, discovery and entrepreneurship across our company and the industries we serve. He focuses this work through the company's research platform and Amp, our innovation engines. He also initiates strategic partnerships with research teams, incubators, start-up companies, colleges and universities and other entities committed to leveraging innovation to shape brighter futures.
The former Director of the Emergency Critical Care Center at Michigan Medicine, the first emergency department-based intensive care unit in the US, Ben continues to serve as a clinical professor and attending physician. Michigan Medicine recognized him as their top clinician in 2023 and their top innovator in 2024.
