CannonDesign has been named one of Interior Design’s 2026 Top 100 Giants, ranking #10 overall and earning top-tier recognition across key markets, including #1 in education and #4 in healthcare.
The recognition ranks design firms based on both revenue and the impact of their work over the past year. The list appears in the publication’s March issue, which also features Northwestern Medicine’s Faculty Office Center, a hospitality-inspired workspace that replaces underused private offices with a shared environment centered on care for the caregiver.
Across all markets, our teams are shaping dynamic interior design solutions in line with our Living-Centered Design ethos. Here’s a look at just a few recent projects with significant interiors stories:
- The interiors of the Rady Children’s Health Southwest Tower infuse experiential graphics throughout to turn wayfinding into moments of discovery, engaging children in playful storytelling that helps reduce anxiety and create a more comforting care experience.
- The New York Public Library partnered with us to renovate three of its historic Carnegie branches, introducing more accessible layouts, new program spaces, improved comfort and environmental performance and community-specific design elements, all while preserving the character and spatial qualities of the original architecture.
- Seton Hall University’s Basketball Performance Center features brand-driven interiors that integrate training, recovery, social and performance spaces into a cohesive athlete experience, with graphics and storytelling reinforcing the program’s identity throughout.
- The Gregory Bateson Building Renovation reimagines the interiors as a modern workplace that respects the historic significance of the building while introducing flexible workspaces, collaborative zones and wellness-driven amenities that reconnect occupants to nature and each other.
- University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Chemistry Building features a highly transparent interior where glass-walled labs, classrooms and collaboration zones create visible connections between teaching and research while fostering curiosity, interaction and discovery across the academic community.
Ultimately, this recognition is made possible by the clients who trust us and the teams who shape ideas into places that truly help people flourish.
