"Architecture is a profession that rewards patience," David Polzin explains to open the latest episode of Design Fuel before then launching into a conversation with Jonathan Moody subtly challenging that notion.

At just 36 years old, Jonathan stepped into the CEO role at Moody Nolan and immediately ignited growth and impact. He's helped the company expand to 12 locations across the United States with 350+ professional staff and earn recognition as the 2021 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Architecture Firm of the Year.

He continues to lead Moody Nolan -- the nation's largest African American-owned architecture practice -- on its quest to deliver architecture to diverse and often underserved urban communities. Jonathan believes focused efforts in these communities can propel the profession toward empowering and uplifting diverse populations.

Jonathan joins this episode of Design Fuel to talk about this work in urban communities, the impact of legacy and continuity in community developments and his leadership journey among numerous other topics.
