Emma Canny has been selected for Interior Design Magazine’s 30/30 Chicago program, which recognizes 30 of the region’s most promising emerging designers for their creativity, leadership and contributions to the design industry.

As an interior designer in CannonDesign’s Chicago office, Emma brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach and a sharp eye for detail to every stage of the design process. From early ideas and concept development to documentation and construction administration, she helps turn the client's visions into meaningful, beautifully executed spaces.

“Emma is deeply curious about all aspects of design and consistently invests in the people around her,” said Suzanne Lefebvre, Vice President and Design Leader, who nominated Emma for the honor. “Her ability to connect thoughtful design vision with the rigor needed to realize it has made her an invaluable part of our team — and this recognition is so well deserved.”

Emma has contributed to a range of projects across CannonDesign, including Children’s Healthcare of Philadelphia, Bluesail Global Headquarters, Naples Comprehensive Health, Peel Memorial and SUNY Tuttle Hall. Across these projects and many more, she has become known for her ability to balance design vision with technical precision, helping teams create spaces that are both inspiring and deeply responsive to the people who use them.
