By blending thoughtful gestures, placemaking and ease of use, Laura believes architecture and interior design can transform an environment into one of healing, reinvention and strength. With a wealth of experience in healthcare planning and interior design, particularly in cancer center design, Laura aims to create spaces and experiences that can transform communities and the people they serve.
Throughout her career, Laura worked on many of the new and award-winning spaces at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY. While there, she was coined the “Design Conscience of the Institute,” understanding that the patient experience extends through any building used by caregivers and community members. Her career has focused on creating experiences where healthcare education, care, prevention and research are accessible, patient and staff friendly and pave the way for innovation.
