It started when his family designed and built his childhood home in Iowa. With no background in architecture, a young Marcus and his family created a home that shaped the trajectory of his life. This spark led to taking a drafting class in high school and now, Marcus leads teams of designers to build spaces that revolutionize healthcare, higher education, and work culture.
As an associate practice director for the Central Region, Marcus focuses on the office’s financial success, alignment and management of resources, process delivery, and staff growth and development. With over 25 years of experience, Marcus enjoys building teams of talented, diverse designers and being a part of executing projects that create a lasting and positive impact on our communities and the environment.
