Our Peter McCarthy is featured in a new piece from Green Building & Design that focuses on how businesses are evolving their workplaces to meet the needs of the modern workforce.

Three people are working on laptops at a modern tech lounge with a brick wall background. Two peole are seated at a bar-style counter and a third is standing while using their laptop. Three blank screens are mounted on the wall.

The piece takes a deep look at the LinkedIn Toronto Headquarters our team designed as an example of emerging trends around workplace adaptability, cross-disciplinary collaboration, employee experience and employee choice.

The GB&D piece also shares how the LinkedIn Toronto office offers "desk-sharing neighborhoods" as opposed to singular workstations that allow for tapered schedules amidst remote work. These spaces are then surrounded by all different types of communal amenities, meeting and conference spaces, phone rooms and other areas for all different types of work.

"By creating that array of spaces," Peter explains. "This space gives employees choices and companies flexibility to change and pivot day-to-day and season-to-season as needed. These efforts also help instill deeper pride for employees in their organization."
