Stephanie Leedom, AIA

Great Lakes Region Executive Director

Stephanie Leedom

People are the single greatest resource in an organization, without which nothing is possible. That’s how Stephanie approaches her work, relationships and leadership philosophy. She believes that architecture is a team sport and while the origination of an idea may be singular, success depends on collaborating with many to achieve a common goal. With a career spanning architecture, urban design and federal service, she brings a global perspective and a passion for creating spaces that foster connection and resilience.

As Executive Director for our Great Lakes Region, Stephanie leads teams across Buffalo, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Toronto, and Minneapolis, guiding strategic initiatives and client relationships that empower architecture to be a catalyst for change. She has 20 years in public service, focusing on mission-driven organizations and projects throughout the Western Hemisphere, Africa, and East Asia Pacific. Fluent in Spanish from serving as a Peace Corps volunteer, Stephanie has leveraged her skills to shape communities and diplomatic campuses worldwide.
