Our Director of Sustainability Eric Corey Freed has appeared on multiple podcasts in recent months to talk about the strategic benefits of sustainable design strategies.
Most recently, Eric spoke with Better Building for Humans podcast on what it takes to overcome fear and past precedent when considering sustainable design. The discussion explores everything from innovation friction, empathy-driven leadership and regenerative design to healthy materials, biophilic design, circular economy principles and and the surprising power of humor to drive meaningful change.
Eric also joined Driven to Lead to focus on how sustainability can evolve beyond an environmental initiative to advance deeper strategic initiatives.
Specifically, Eric highlights a conversation with a children's hospital that started around environmental impact and ultimately helped knock down organizational silos, reconnect leaders to their driving mission and spark a broader discussion about health, hope and the lives of the children they serve.
