Testimonials
Troy’s body of work spans healthcare, education and beyond, across a wide range of delivery methods. He is particularly known for his leadership in Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), having successfully led several of CannonDesign’s most complex and impactful IPD projects.
His accomplishments include designing Illinois’ first LEED Gold hospital, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, as well as the children’s museum–inspired Ehrman Crest Elementary and Middle School, which was named one of TIME magazine’s Best Inventions of 2023. Current projects in design and construction include the OhioHealth Women’s Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Kenneth C. Griffin Pavilion and Seneca Valley School District’s Intermediate High School, among others.
“I’ve always been most energized by the moments when a roomful of smart people starts to align and see the potential in design,” said Troy. “That alignment is what allows strong ideas to survive complexity and delivery. I’m excited to keep doing that work across the region as I continue supporting our design teams and help strong ideas make it all the way into the built world.”
As Regional Design Director, Troy will collaborate closely with design leaders across the firm, helping the Great Lakes Region continue to raise the bar while contributing to a shared design culture for the firm. We’re excited to see the impact of his leadership as CannonDesign continues to evolve and grow.
